Who is Mid America Foods Ministry?
The Missouri based food ministry is a relatively new company, but with 40 years of food ministry experience their staff and suppliers pack a powerful punch. With that experience comes years and years of interviews, surveys, and the polling of families about what everyone wants in food ministry. Let Mid America Foods explain how it is different from other food ministries and how we have a fresh program in food ministry.
Mid America Foods looks to churches, non-profit organizations, community help centers, senior nutrition outlets, and schools to serve as Outreach Centers. The centers take the responsibility of order taking, money collection, and food distribution. These group’s volunteers give of their time and talents to reach families that need to stretch their hard earn dollars.
Mid America Foods features a monthly menu of six or more pre-assembled boxes of food with exceptional value. The food boxes provide the protein that we lack in our diets with beef , chicken, pork, fish, and premium entrée selections. The food boxes range from large to small to meet the needs of Everyone.
Yes, Mid America Foods brings to you vegetables and fruits on the monthly menu. The fruit and veggie box is 100% frozen. The fresh produce items have not proven to be of exceptional quality and value in other food ministries. Each month Mid America Foods will offer a frozen veggie box that can benefit your family with every purchase so you can eat them when you are ready , not as soon as they come off the truck.
Mid America Foods brings to you value frozen foods each month. The cheap staple fillers that you can get at your local discount center for next to nothing, WILL NOT be found on the menu. If we can not bring it to you at a better price than most competitors, you will not find it on the menu.
Keeping expenses in check is a big priority. The Mid America Foods Supplier consolidates all products in a cold storage facility and ships directly to you. No warehouse rent or warehouse staff is the key to keeping the overhead low.
State sales tax is paid in every state required. All the calculation, documentation, and reporting is handled through the Mid America Foods central office. No responsibility for the state’s sales tax falls on the Outreach Center.
Transportation and trucking is monitored very closely and has always been of the highest priority. Truck routes are overseen by Mid America Foods suppliers and ownership. Deliveries are on time. Truck temperatures are maintained at -10 degrees to secure food quality and usability. There is a truck delivery center near you.
All business functions are conveniently located at central office. Communication flow between staff and the public is handled immediately. If you call Mid America Foods, Mid America Foods will answer your questions promptly and effectively.
Mid America Foods’s compassionate staff and “ONE on ONE ,”Customer Care is great. When you call, we talk to you. You are never going to feel like you’ve had to take a number. Our staff’s true desire is to reach to those in need and bridge the gap in every community.
